Step 1: General Company Information

The first step consists of the pre-qualification application that requires general company information, financial, bonding, license, insurance, safety, and legal information. The application can be found below. The application may be completed and submitted via email to KUB's Procurement Department at kubprequal@kub.org. The prequalification applications will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis. Approval of the initial application is not guaranteed. Once submitted, KUB will review the forms internally and notify the contractor if they are moving on to the next step. Please note, if all required information is not submitted, the pre-qualification process cannot be completed.

Step 2: References

The second step requests references for projects completed by the contractor. Reference forms will be sent upon approval of the first step of the pre-qualification process. Please carefully read all instructions contained within the reference form. Each reference will be contacted and will be evaluated based on the reference’s response to KUB’s questions.

Step 3: Third-Party Safety Data Verification

The third step consists of third-party safety data verification. Once references have been contacted and satisfactorily verified, you will receive an email from KUB’s third-party safety data verification site to connect with KUB. Completion of this step is mandatory and should be done within one month of connecting with KUB on Avetta. If the contractor fails to complete this step of the prequalification process, they will not become prequalified. Once you have successfully completed all steps (determined at KUB’s discretion), KUB will send you an approval letter stating that you are a pre-qualified contractor in your approved classifications.
